The days are shorter but the hours stay the same. Chores still start at the same time, but now we start and finish in the dark.
Corn Silage has been put up, but we aren’t done. One last cutting of hay, picking corn, baling corn fodder, then on to soy beans, and baling the bean vines. Then finishing up with planting cover crops for the winter.
Please be mindful, and share the road with us. We try to move when traffic is at a minimum, but it’s not always possible. Our equipment is huge, doesn’t move fast, and it isn’t meant to, but also doesn’t mean it can stop or change direction on a dime.
Fall is my favorite time of year, as we finish preparing for winter. Harvest wishes to all.
