Now that field work is done for the winter, there is a lot of random maintenance to do. Normal for this time of year is winterizing. We put windows back in the barn, check antifreeze in the trucks and tractors, air-conditioning units come out if windows etc. However as things break in the summer we patch and temporary mend things. Today we are repairing one of the feed tanks. The panel needed to be replaced. Seems simple, but someone needed to be on the inside of the tank and someone the outside of the tank. Needles to say I was on the outside. I did find out that his cell phone can get a signal from in the tank as people chose that half hour moment in time to call. Now on to the next fix it project.
